Rct*mart To Close Its Doors
Posted on Jul 20, 10 3:12 AM UTC by MidwestBoyInLA

Well, friends and family,

It's been quite a while since we've had any significant activity over at RCT*Mart - not just from members but also from staff and designers.

Given the drop-off of activity, and the costs of maintaining the forums and the site, I'm planning to close the doors of the Mart in the very near future.

The first step will be to set the forums to read-only. This will happen in the next few weeks.

During the time that the forums are read only, I'm open to suggestions on what we should do with the content contained within our forums.

Already all of our RCT*Mart designer Downloads, event releases, and other custom scenery and rides can be found in our RCT*Mart Download Self-Checkout, located here:
http://www.rctmart.com/downloads/index.html

Regardless of whatever happens with the forums, those downloads will remain available at that same URL.

Please feel free to reply here to this topic (if RCTSpace is allowing responses here), or to email me or PM me via the RCT*Mart site, or here at RCTSpace, with suggestions on how we should handle the forum-based content (generated by our users, and hosted on the RCT*Mart servers).

Thanks for many great years, and many most excellent memories. :)

Hey New Elements new site was launched the other day with a brand new spotlight.

http://www.nedesigns.com/

The dynamics of the sight has completely changed and builders now release parks to be ranked on an overall system.

For those who haven't joined NE please do, If you love rct it is a fantastic way to be inspired and compete in your spare time. For all you park lovers out there it's fantastic to create your own layouts when you can't be at a real theme park. Whether it's fantasy or realism we love all parks. Anyone is more than welcome so please join and celebrate the great game that is RCT!!!!!
